As the CEO of RCS-RDS stated yesterday, the company is interested and working hard to bid for one of the two most interesting blocks of licenses on the Hungarian telecom market.
Block A is GSM 900/1800 + 3G UMTS 2100 and block B is CDMA2000 450 Mhz. Both are very interesting one from coverage point of view and the other from services and capacity point of view.
As the company representative told the press, there is enough financial power to sustain this new investment.

Portability in Romania was officially launched on 21st of October. Today there are already around 1,500 ported numbers, with an average of up to 200 ported numbers per day, and counting.
So, since 21st of Oct 2008 you cannot tell anymore by the prefix if it’s a network or another. You can still check it on www.portabilitate.ro.
